Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great method to earn gear weapons, gear and much more. But they're also hard to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that allows you to bring pistols in to an operation. Some players use this to achieve certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to close gaps. It is important to remember that to select the pistols that belong in this slot, click on the button to select the appropriate category, like machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are both active, making it much easier to use. This combo also gives you a damage tick from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds as long as it is in the slot.

Slot for Smuggled Items

The smuggled item slot an excellent feature that allows players to bring in tools and weapons, however it could use a better affordance. It's currently designed as an a gun, which makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot can hold a large variety of items, from subtle concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items are secretly stored in a hidden location on the map and are able to be found at any time. The items that are smuggled are different from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes, which conceal only small items within the scenery or objects directly.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that allows players to unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players to design the perfect mission for every task.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice their gear slots quickly fill up, leading to the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message which prevents Max from selecting new equipment until the old items are cleared or a larger space is obtained. The solution to this issue is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for completing challenge missions. However, because the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and can be overlooked, it may take some time to get the largest amount of inventory slots in the game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as the grouping of Grenades) can only use one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to store items that don't fit in your weapon or Rainbet Casino & Sportsbook gear slot and take them out later.

These pickups are particularly useful when you have to pass through a frisk in the course of the game or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise cause suspicion. You can only conceal one item at a pickup location.

This DLC includes new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Then, walk to the stated mission marker and identify a mob at the time of arrival.
